What a weekend :D

This is going to be a long post...well at least with a lot of pictures for your enjoyment Firstly, one thing I want to blog about are these type of fucked up steel bars which looks classy as stainless steel or ulgy painted green seats at most of our typical bus stop area. I was waiting for Ija(Syd from Runnerz Circle) at Setiawangsa Putra LRT station to collect my running vest + recipets for the Siemens Run 2008 last week. Seriously, tell me how the hell can you sit on those comfortably? I've tried sitting on it...and honestly, I rather stand and wait for the bus.

Why can't they just build a standard nice concrete bus stop seats like the good old days.

Seriously, try it to believe it.

Even if a futuristic bus stop has SEATS.


Even If Apple builds a Mac Bus Stop. It has a seat.( i know its not Apple but seems like it)

Enough of that shit, :D Now for the happy post haha.

Me and my sayang were at Sunway Pyramid on Saturday. Everything was nice...got a parking space within 5 minutes and the entrance wasn't far.

Also, I bumped into an old friend since Kindergarten! Soon Tat. Chatted with him for a little while before we went on our own way. My gf bought some stuff for herself. ME? nothing lol. Wanted to get some tshirts but my sayang kept reminding me that I have alot of tshirts already. Oh well, "Ubah Gaya Hidup" I guess. Dont get it? Watch this

Next up, Meal time :) We wanted to try Wendy's...but it was so damn packed. After that, we wanted to have KFC. I actually said okay as I wanted to try the chicken chop meal(I would eat anything at KFC except for their burgers and FISH products!)

As we were walking towards KFC, we stumbled across this cafe...looks like a typical Oldtown / kopitiam themed cafes. The place was called Pappa Rich =). After browsing through the menu, the dishes looks good ( I know I know, its just pictures...) but the price was quite reasonable. Furthermore, me and my sayang manage to see how the food looked like from orders made by cusomters there. Most of them were eating Nasi Lemak so..... we said yes to dine there.

Sunday? As usual, went to church with grandma..and da maid. Got back home about 11.30am and cooked this:

Prawns with Garlic, 1 fried egg, sesame oil, black sauce and 3 pieces of Cintan Noodles.

After brunch, I headed over to my sayang's place for our long planned weekend activity which is; Home Baked Banana Cake but for us, we are doing cupcakes with the same recipe!

Tried to mash the bananas using the mixing machine, but it was too difficult

So we used a fork instead. Much simpler.

Once mashed up with the fork, we use the mixing machine

Next up, 250g of butter

Cut into smaller chunks...easier to mash later.

I'm mashing it because...its too tough =.= We forgot to take it out from the fridge to defrost or soften.

Now with the machine

It got stuck within the mixing arm

But my sayang showed me how to rectify it with ease :) just spin them close to the side of the bowl. The butter will come out naturally.

Sugar - 175gram

Add 3 Eggs. Egg white first.

See the yolk? That is for later. The other bowl is..the banana mashed up earlier.

How to tell when it's done? Just do this :) If it does't fall off the bowl, means done.

NOW, we add the egg yolks.

Add the Vanilla essence.

Adding both mixes

240grams of self rising flour

Once the final mix is done, time to put them into the baking tray

12 at 1 go.

Fill them up baby..yeah

All done! Prepare the oven!

Let it bake for about 15mins? Shit I can't remember the duration for this.

Here is the first batch of banana cup cakes...SMELLS GOOD!

After me and my sayang tried it, we decided to re-bake the first batch later. The center of the cupcake was still not dry enough but good enough to eat.

The colour for the 2nd batch looks nicer ain't it? I think we baked this for 35mins or more.

We're happy with the cupcakes...first try and it turned out so well.

Lastly, we enjoyed watching some TV with a glass of Honey Lemon juice. Thanks sayang!

Oh, also, I ran a good 30mins that day! It was a really good comfortable run. I guess I was on Runner's high. Its like I could go on for another 30mins but I didnt want to push it. I don't want to have my legs aching on a MONDAY.
