Nice weekend!

1 more week till Chinese New Year. Work has been hectic as usual. With all the uncertainties around, I am not even sure if the program can be completed on time. Like I said, don't fret, find solution, talk to colleagues and seek help. It's not all about programming, communication is the vital too because I'm communicating with some people at UK. If they are not sending across information to me, I'm not able to do my work efficiently. So I have to bug them into order to get the things that I need. Surprisingly, they WANT such behaviour from us(me and my colleagues in this project) here in Malaysia because they are busy! Since they put it that way, we call and we call and we call them every evening to ask questions.

Eh, wait, I shouldn't be talking about work JUST YET. I had a nice weekend with my gf. Not to mentioned I ate my favorite food :D

Me and my gf was at 1 Utama over the weekend as usual and we wanted to watch a movie. Manage to find a parking space within the first 5 minutes which is awesome. Walked around and proceeded to GSC, only to find there was NO CROWD. True enough, there wasn't any good movies to watch. We did some window shopping and finally, I bought a tshirt from SODA :) It was already close to 4.00pm at that time so we decided to grab a bite at Sushi King. She had some cravings for Curry Udon ever since Genki Sushi was no longer around.

Once seated at Sushi King, there wasn't much sashimi on the conveyer belt. There were only a few customers then, so I guess they didn't want to waste the food. Wasn't really bothered about that, we ordered our stuff.

1 of my favorite, Golden Ball

First, the Hotate Massago was servered. Followed by my curry rice and spicy ramen. The odd thing was my curry rice had TWO half hard boiled eggs( 1 biji la) while my gf's spicy ramen was suppose to have half an egg.

Andrew: "Excuse me, doesn't this spicy ramen come with half of a hard boiled egg?
Waiter: "Oh sorry, I'll bring it for you now. Sorry ya? *smiles*

After a few minutes, the waiter brought out a small bowl with the egg inside. ROFL hahahhaha Tak kisah la. We are suppose to get it anyway.

The picture showed alot of fish roe but in reality only a little was used. F'kers.

The golden ball took awhile because they had to fry it or something. It was served last but nevertheless, we enjoyed it as it was freshly cooked.

After our meal, I wanted to get my new Multi Vitamin so we popped by Guardian for awhile. This promoter was asking me what was I looking for so I told her "Multi Vitamin". She introduced to me this brand which I have never heard before but she was saying it is good and giving examples of how it helped her friend bla bla bla. I asked "What is the difference between this brand and Blackmores? She said Blackmores was more towards chemical while Bio Grow was closer to natural sources. In the end, I decided to give it a try.

I know this might be lame but I actually bought a local movie......IMPAK MAKSIMA! Our version combination of Fast And Furious with Initial D. I was bored okay so might as well try this shit out. It was the same price as the VCD so I took the DVD version of course. Doesn't make sense does it? VCD RM19.90 and right next to it, DVD RM19.90. WTF wei?

No idea what the storyline is about

No idea who are the actors and actresses.

After shopping and all, we got home, changed and went for a short run around the housing area. Me and my gf ran together for 15 minutes when she said she is feeling tired. She went back home while I carried on running to test my knee. I ran for about 26 minutes with no pain on my right knee. I was happy! Really Happy. You have no idea how dreadful it is, not being able to run. I walked for a couple of minutes more to cool down and stretched before walking back to the house. What a day!

Sunday Sunday... Had a good night's rest and once I was awake, I was already thinking about what to have for breakfast. I told my gf "Lets go to Uptown for Nasi Lemak". She said "Again?" ahahahaha. Still groggy, I showered and got changed....went for my favorite nasi lemak! Village Park, yeah!

As soon as I turned into the junction where Village Park was located, it was PACKED. Cars were seen double parking(usual sight at Uptown) and parked in the middle of road. I was like walau....where am I going to park...sien lor....we got here too late(it was about 9.45am I think). Just when I thought there wasn't any hope of finding a nearby parking space, there was one =P in the middle part of the road(well, if you're at Uptown you will understand what I mean. )

Business was extremely good for Village Park. Not only was all the tables occupied but there was even a long queue for take aways. Once again, my gf and I were lucky to find a table outside. We sat down and soon later got our orders taken. It did take awhile for our food and drinks to arrive but that was also due to my constant checking with the waiter regarding my order.

Our teh tarik and teh si panas came first.

AND THE MAIN COURSE!

With our stomachs filled, we went to Giant Hypermarket to shop for some groceries. Remember I said I bought Impak Maksima? Well, at least the cars were cool and they don't end up being used as a mascot for selling hot dogs like our Malaysia's super hero.

BELI LAH HOT DOG 1901! CICAKMAN kena makan juga!

Later that evening, I was suppose to head over to my sister's condo gym to work on my back, triceps and legs but my sister was still at my house in Puchong. I ended up running again but this time, me and my gf ran the bigger loop at her housing area which is about 2.5KM per loop. She managed to run one loop before stopping. I asked her to rest because her knee still needs strengthening. I'm still happy that she ran with me. I will remind her to take her Glucosamine daily. I ran for about 25 minutes today and I don't want to push it too much as my knee just recovered. I plan to do a long run this week, but I don't know when.

Ever since I injured my right knee cap, I have been taking my supplements diligently EVERYDAY. I have been taking:
  • 1 Multi Vitamin tablet
  • 2 Seven Seas Fish Oil capsules
  • 2 Glucosamine tablet
  • 2 Spirulina capsules
Thank God for a good weekend last week despite the stress at work. Things seems to be getting better for both work and personal events. Wish me luck!

AMEN!
