What a day....Won't call it a shitty day. Probably just tired. Forgotten some things about work which I should have remembered. Ah well...a wake up call for me after hibernating for so long.

I got home from work...watch 2 episodes of Initial D Stage 4(Ep. 3 and 4). Felt really tired today and didnt feel like exercising. I slept for a good 30mins before dinner.

Sometimes doing less is actually doing more. I wanted to rest from doing weights and cardio. Hopefully I am able to repeat my Monday routine, which is, weights then cardio tomorrow.

W'sup everyone..kinda happy today.. manage to do my weights AND cardio. Here is my routine for today

  • Bicep Curls 3 X 5
  • Bench Press 1 X 10
  • Bent Over Row 1 X 10
  • Sit Ups 3 X 10
  • Weight Sit Ups 1 X 10
  • Jogging 1KM
  • Cycling 1KM
Came back..rested..took 1 full cup of HL Milk with 1 piece of banana.

FEEEELLL GOOODD.
Damn...after watching this video....working on my dumbbells seems more interesting but I dont have a bench to work with.

Just wanted to share this information. Best part of all, you can save the video in WMV format.

Ah...Sunday Sunday...Went to church...came back home...had Brunch...

Just finished working out. Changed my weights on my dumbbells. Instead of 6.5KG(2.5KG X 2 + Bar(1.5KG), I'm using 5KG for now ((1.25KG + 0.5KG) X 2) + 1.5KG(bar).

  • Bicep Curls: 2 10
  • Bench Press: 1 10
  • Bent Over Row: 1 10.
  • Sit-Ups: 3 10
  • Weighted Sit-Ups(Ok..no idea ..I just made this term up) Used the 5KG dumbbell: 1 10.
That is it for now. Hopefully it doesn't rain in the evening then I can do my jogging.

Ok so I was bored...clicked around and once again..i'm reading at Xia Xue's blog

but this time...its kinda annoying at how she was dissing Malaysia or KL-ians. Get a grip, no place and no one is perfect.

She complained about our taxi cheating them. Hello? As though when we malaysians go to Singapore, we never got cheated?

Complaining about how expensive malaysia's food is? You've only been to KL city where most of them are food courts? I've been to singapore and its no better anyway. A bowl of Fish Ball Noodle was also tagged at SG$3 ~ SG$4. So wtf is she complaining about? I ordered a bowl...SG$4 while my friend order the SG$3...NO extra noodle..nope..no extra fishball..nope......so? what did they give me? more SOUP? oh..okay. SO stop bitching about Malaysia's food you midget.

Molested at Petaling Street? It could get pretty crowded at that place. You poor soul....probably need higher high-heels and brighter make up for ppl to watch out for you then.


Petaling Street is now a tourist attraction...so tell me how is it suppose to be cheaper than pasar malam?

Updates for Tuesday(yesterday......30mins ago haha)

I'll be taking a break from jogging....cardio....as my left leg is still giving problem. So as adviced by friends, I should probably take a break from jogging for 1 to 2 weeks before going to SJMC for check up. Sounds serious?

How should i say it.....its like this. Lets say I'm sitting down, and I wanna get up and start walking....or just simply to stand up. My left leg will be sort of weak....annoying....doesn't really hurt that much...but very uncomfortable.

So it will be a good chance to start working out with weights too. I finally get to say these er....workout method names. I'm starting with just 2 sets with 10 repetition each. Go easy on me will ya? I just started.......working with 6.5KG 1st(2 X 2.5KG + the rod 1.5KG). If you think its easy....try doing it first okay? :D then feel free to criticise me. My friend adviced me to work on different muscle group at a time, so I will work on upper body and lower body on another day. Today,(er..okay..yesterday..) i'm working on biceps and my chest(with the bench press)....and abs with the sit-ups

I'm still gonna workout although it may seem like a slow start. My motto for whatever i'm doing is "Doing something is better than not doing anything at all". So...I manage to lose 7kg in 7 months and now i'm trying to shape up alittle with some weight exercises. Lets see how it goes in another few weeks shall we?

Report received from friend who paid a visit to Penang recently. Saturday, May 05, 2007Lorong Selamat Kopitiam: Boycott! *No offence to Penang-kias. This is strictly my personal thoughts. This kopitiam is famous because of the "char kuey teow" only. Otherwise don't bother going there. This post is strictly to taruh the kopitiam kau-kau... for having such a stupid ruling to charge customers RM 0.50 just because they don't order a drink! X(









During our recent makan trip to Penang, one of my neighbours (a Penang-kia) took us to Lorong Selamat to savour the famous "char kuey teow" (we also went to a few other spots for "char kuey teow"). Since it was a big group of us, we occupied 3 tables lor, and subsequently ordered some drinks. The drinks and food came and we all ate heartily. Yes, the "char kuey teow" is good, but expensive. At RM5.50 a portion (and it's a small portion mind you), you can consider is one of the most expensive "char kuey teow" in Penang. But we're not gonna talk about the "char kuey teow" now. We're gonna talk about the kopitiam. We asked this aunty to calculate the cost of drinks. 5 assam-type drinks and 1 ice-kacang a.k.a ABC. The aunty mumbled something and blurted out in hokkien "Zhap Zhi Kor" which means RM12. Then hubby asked her how much was a glass of the assam drink, to which she replied RM1.50 for each assam drink and RM3.50 for the ABC while taking the money from hubby."Eeeeehhhh.... something's not right. 5 assam drinks + one ABC... that shouldn't be RM12. Should only be RM 11! Aunty, you calculated wrongly liao!" hubby exclaimed.






AUNTY 'LANSI' @ Lorong Selamat Kopitiam The aunty dam kau lansi, just mumbled "It's correct lah!" and walked off! The bloody nerve of her!!! All of us were like in awe over her lansi reaction. I just watched that aunty walk off hastily cos she knew she was in trouble with our gang liao. Hubby then called one of the Indon maid and ordered another one of those assam drinks, and told that girl "Sudah bayar".

The aunty returned with the assam drink and proceeded to explain how she calculated the cost of RM12. She said that 2 of our members didn't order a drink, hence it's by default to charge non-ordering drinking customers RM0.50 per head. Since the cost of drinks is RM11, and 2 of our members didn't order a drink, so the total cost is...

RM11 (for drinks) + RM1 (for 2 non-orders) = RM12

We were dumbfounded and argued that the ruling is utterly stupid. Even my Penang friend wasn't aware of such a dumb ruling. The aunty that pointed at the notice board, with fine prints written on it. Indeed anyone that doesn't o rder a drink from the kopitiam, a RM0.50 will be charged accordingly . Geez, even KL doesn't have such ruling ok.

So 6 assam drinks + one ABC brings the cost exactly up to RM12. So by "default" , we should pay an extra ringgit for 2 non-orders, but we refused because it's a stupid ruling by the kopitiam.

By then we had a few tables looking our direction liao. But we couldn't care less cos the kopitiam is ripping its customers off. So it's our right as consumers to make a racket because it's OUR money. The aunty went on to explain she's only working there, the boss made that rule yada yada yada. Then we said "Call your boss out! We will talk to your boss!" Then she said "You talk to my boss! You talk to my boss!"

The boss never came out. And we also suspected that this aunty IS the boss herself, but scared of us oredi because we made such a scene in her kopitiam.The aunty even challenged us to take a photo of the kopitiam and report it to higher authorities. WTF?!? So lansi hor?

So, if your friends tell you that Lorong Selamat "char kuey teow" is very good, believe them. Because it is really quite tasty. But it will cost you RM5.50 a plate for a small portion, which may not be worth the trip sometimes. But the kopitiam where it's located, skip it. Because it sucks! And they couldn't even get the assam drink right! Blek! *Note: Not all "char kuey teow" in Penang is nice. Some are just so-so, and I've tasted one of the worst "char kuey teow" @ Gurney Drive hawkers.

After getting those picture frames from IKEA, my gf and I went to 1 Utama to get some stuff. I managed to get some dumbbells from 1 Utama. Initially I wanted to get from this shop called Kettlers or something. RM69.90 for just ONE dumbbell, but they were out of stock. Feeling disappointed, my gf said she wanted to go to SASA....we walked...and walked....and walked....andddd....we saw another fitness equipment shop :) Fitness Concept Specialist Sdn Bhd

Damn..I didnt manage to post yesterday. Why? Busy...............

Didnt do anything........total bummer for 1 whole day. not even sit ups. I wanted to jog...but God said "Andrew, My Child, you need a break from jogging" So he gave us the wonderful drops of rain.

So what did I do at 6.30pm? I DOTA...yes..I played DOTA.
Anyway...Tried something different for lunch though. I usually take 2 of my tuna sandwiches..I aint gonna keep typing what is in my sandwich. its ALWAYS going to be Tuna, cucumber and tomato. Hardboiled egg will come in once in awhile.

So what did I do? Eat 1 for lunch and for tea time(which i initially thought it would be great for my metabolism crap and its before my jogging...anyway it rained so...it kinda spoilt my plan but anyway...we should be thankful for the rain. However I did curse the rain...sorry God...I didnt mean it....)

Forgot to take my cod liver oil capsule before dinner =.= I took two after 15mins after my dinner. Dont care lar....as long as its IN my system.

Left eye was swollen alittle for the last two days(Tuesday...Wednesday)...took some er "bitter leaf". How do you use the leaves? Basically I just put the leaves in a small bowl, then I poured hot water and give it a little stir....and be being an idiot..i used my finger...smart huh? Ok I'll blame the time..it was 12.30am and I was damn bloody tired. Let it cool down till its WARM. Used da leaves to wash my eye...and the next day(TODAY) it's healed! woo hoo!

W'sup everyone.....

Was freaking tired man..got home from work around 6.10pm thanks to the freaking jam. Manage to take a quick 10mins nap before heading out for jogging.


6.30pm : Jogging(HIIT) 1KM, Cycled 1KM, Sit-ups(3 sets of 10)
After that I drank 1 cup of HL milk...tonnes of plain water.

7.20pm: Gonna shower and sleep for 30mins before dinner!!

8.00pm: Took two Cod Liver Oil capsules from SevenSeas. Dinner was usual. Half a bowl of rice, veg...LOTS of veg...FISH!....


Also, I think I can save money on buying an exercising mat which I initially wanted to get for my Sit-Ups exercises. My back felt painful after the 1st few days...its like..slightly above your butt? My friend said its the upper-body. So today i tried using a simple CLEAN...i said CLEAN floor mat(I will take photo okay? Its going to be my Sit-Up mat hehe)

That is all for now..I pray and hope that shop at 1 Utama will have those dumbbells this weekend!

Didnt cycle but did nearly 1.2KM of HIIT.

7.00pm: Drank 1 cup of HL milk and ate 1 banana :)

Resting now. I'm not gonna do much for today...I only had like 4 hours of sleep.

Starting from today...I'm gonna post what I eat and do on a daily basis(I hope...but my StreamyX is down!!!@#$!#@$!@). I do have a er "timetable" or jogging chart at home but I guess by posting it here would be nice.

Morning: Jogged.

Breakfast: 1 Tuna sandwich: Wholemeal bread + Tuna + tomato + cucumber.

Lunch: 2 Tuna sandwiches: Wholemeal bread + Tuna + tomato + cucumber + hard boiled eggs.

Evening 6.20pm: Jogged(HIIT) 1KM, Cycled 1KM( Yea..just came back from all that..FEELS GREAT..GLORIOUS SWEAT)

Dinner?: Pending

Wanna know my daily cardio routine? Here goes.

This is my routine.
7.20am
I'll take a glass of water..and head off for jogging.(i will try to wake up earlier to have something,,..i know jogging on empty stomach is bad)

8.00am
Breakfast: Usually coffee or Nestum. Bread with butter and jam. Sometimes Bread with Tuna.

12.00pm
Lunch: Wholemeal bread with tuna, cucumber, and tomato. Sometimes I'll change the tuna with hard boiled egg, cucumber and tomato. You can't have tuna everyday can't you? :p

6.30pm
(new cardio stuff...for me at least)Drink some plain water. and head out for jogging(HIIT) and cycle 1KM before resting.After that...I usually just drink plain water. IF i have milk..I usually will drink 1 full cup of HL milk.

7.30pm
Dinner: lots of Veggies, Chicken breast...mix actually..but i try to stay away from drumsticks or wings(my grandma usually cooks non-fried..just sauces ones), Rice(less rice nowaday...about half a bowl?..been doing this nearly 2 weeks already+..)

Rarely but....Sometimes when i have milk. I'll have a bowl of cereals(POST cereal) with Marigold HL milk.

I'm playing badminton on Monday evenings now...company sponsored so might as well have a different type of sport
W'sup.....nothing much.. didnt jog last night. Grandma said it was too late, gf said jog tomorrow morning instead. So decided to sleep earlier and jog in the morning.

To make things worse...my StreamyX was down. Wtf man...cant even go online with the damn DSL light blinking.

Aniweiz...I managed to jog this morning...and yes...I'm in the office posting this. I've just read the email summary for the conference call last night. It wasn't that bad...just "minor changes" to the pseudo code. No biggie.

I'm still wondering why i'm sweatng..nah..it's not because of the walk from the car park to the office...even after I showered this morning...I was still sweating...are my muscles still burning fat? :p i wonder

Its 7.02pm..I'm still in office. Nothing bad though...I just can't wait to get over with the conference call.

I think I'll jog tonight...crazy right? Yea...but could use a different feel once in awhile. My dinner was a crap load of rice which contradicts with what I'm doing but that is just for today I guess. Its not like I'm eating cheese burger like 3 time a week right?

Don't really want to take forgranted by saying 'cheat day' when it comes to meals.

Some friends has been askign me for a before and after picture. Sure...give me more time. End of this month. I do have some before pictures....say...in the month of December 2006. So... :) give me time till end of this month? Let's see if my new diet and cardio workout is progressing well.

BTW, diet isn't about losing weight. its what you eat. Ppl say.."oh..I'm on a diet" to tell ppl you're losing weight..that is crap.

Saying you're on a diet really just means you eat food. That's why I think it's funny when people state that they're "on a diet" and expect it to mean something it doesn't. "You're on a diet? Wow... congratulations... so is EVERY OTHER LIVING THING ON THE PLANET!!" These people should be saying that out of the many different diets and plans that exist, they're "on a weight loss diet." Hopefully these people are reading this right
now, and hopefully they have learned their lesson. It's ok, we forgive you.
